Over twenty-five artist/members will be displaying their work in the show, “CIAO Branches Out @ Peoria Public Library”. The show opens at the Main Library at 107 NE Monroe in the newly renovated Lower Level 1 Gallery on August 13, and will run until September 23. Opening reception is Saturday, August 13 from 4pm until 5:30pm. The show may be viewed during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artwork during this show is dedicated to the Friends of the Library.

The tour includes seven separate locations and spans a breadth of artistic media. Painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, glass, woodworking, and more will be on display. The tour starts at 5pm and runs to 9pm each First Friday. Enjoy the unique efforts of Central Illinois artists in their studios, follow works in progress, and visit with the creative and talented artists living and working in our area.

This video was shot during the First Friday festivities at The Mill on the first, First Friday in April 2011.  There were four other locations participating in the event with a collection of artists in each location.  They were The Murray, The Cornerstone, The Peoria Art Guild and Torrason Glass.
